XL Hand-Dyed Sashiko Skeins

These extra-long (145 m / 155 yd) skeins of sashiko thread are hand-dyed in variegated colors, so your stitches gradually change color as you work. The color changes add a whole new creative dimension to sashiko, because they reveal the order and direction of your stitches.

With a four-ply, 100% cotton construction, these are the ideal threads for bold and highly defined sashiko work.

Colorway #208 “Autumn” is a muted, earthy mixture of mossy greens, orange, and pine green. At the intersections of orange with green, neutral earth shades briefly appear.
