For exciting, complex textures, try Winsor & Newton Watercolor Granulation Medium. Dilute any watercolor with this thin, colorless medium, and the pigments will gather in organic patterns. Granulation medium is perfect for adding an extra dimension to your paintings of natural subjects.

This medium works best with pigments that granulate naturally, like ultramarine and cobalt, but you can experiment with any color.
