Kogin is a type of Japanese embroidery that has similarities to Western embroidery and to Japanese sashiko. These jumbo needles are a purpose-built tool that allows you to pick up more stitches, more quickly. They have a rounded but highly tapered tip that maneuvers easily through open-weave fabric without getting stuck. And they have a big eye so you can thread your embroidery floss without damaging it.
