Grosgrain ribbon is a basic material that’s important for several different fields. It’s commonly used in sewing, both as reinforcement and as a design element in clothing. It’s found in many bookbinding designs, especially as a sewn-in bookmark. It’s also a nice choice for wrapping gifts.

This red grosgrain is made from a glossy synthetic blend (91% nylon, 9% polyester). It can be creased but it also forms soft, round loops. White stitching along both edges adds a special touch to this ornamental ribbon.
