The ink’s so smooth and skipless, and the marks are quite dark: you might think that FX-ZETA is a rollerball or gel pen. It’s actually an oil-based ballpoint (so it’s quick-drying) but with new ink technology, a ballpoint can be truly smooth and sharp.

FX-ZETA Peak has a “pipe tip,” sometimes called a needle point, which extends from the pen and allows the user to see their work precisely. The 0.5 mm width is readable and distinct, but you can make very specific marks due to the tip design.
