No.1 Cutter is for fine lines and cross hatching. Use at a steep angle and push forward with light pressure being sure not to go deep. With practice, a line of 0.5mm or less is possible in SoftCut material and a little wider in Lino. Care is needed when inking up over lines this fine as it is easy to push the ink into shallow lines with a soft brayer.
